Most recent bias evaluation results — aggregated, not individual-level. Something like "across our test population, hour allocation variance between demographic groups was within X% of parity" is the level of detail a procurement team needs.
What to Avoid Saying
Several common answers will raise flags rather than resolve them:
"We don't use any protected data, so there is no discrimination risk." This ignores proxy discrimination entirely and suggests you haven't thought through the problem.
"Our model is fair because it treats everyone equally." Procedural fairness (equal treatment) and outcome fairness (equal impact) are different things. A serious auditor will probe this distinction.
"We have not received any discrimination complaints." This is not a technical answer. It may actually introduce liability by implying you only test for bias reactively.
The Follow-Up You Should Expect
"Can you provide the results of your most recent bias evaluation?"
Have a summary document ready. It doesn't need to be your full internal evaluation — a one-page disclosure covering methodology, population tested, metrics used, and high-level results is standard.
"What is your process if we identify a disparate impact issue after deployment?"
Have an incident response process documented. The answer should include: how you receive the report, how you investigate, your SLA for a technical response, and under what circumstances you would retrain or reconfigure the model.
